Romney to stump in Reston

Presidential hopeful Mitt Romney will hit the campaign trail in Reston ahead of Virginia’s March primary.

The former Massachusetts governor will speak at the Presidential Series breakfast co-hosted by the Northern Virginia Technology Council and the Consumer Electronics Association Feb. 10.

Romney and U.S. Rep. Ron Paul of Texas are the only two Republican party candidates vying for the 2012 presidential nomination who are on the ballot in Virginia. McLean resident and former Speaker of the House Newt Gingrich and former U.S. Senator Rick Santorum from Pennsylvania missed the Virginia filling deadlines, with Gingrich blaming a volunteer who allegedly falsified some of the signatures necessary for him to be on the ballot.

Romney has more than 20 years of experience in the private sector, including heading Bain Capital and the 2002 Salt Lake City Olympic Games Organizing Committee. He recently won the primary in New Hampshire, but was defeated in Iowa by Santorum and in South Carolina by Gingrich.

NVTC and CEA have extended invitations to Paul, Gingrich and President Barack Obama for the same opportunity to address Northern Virginia’s technology community.

*This article has been updated to change the location of the event. The breakfast will be held in Reston, not Tysons Corner as previously stated.

Sounds like the “class warfare” pitch is working just fine in Loudoun which is interesting since you happen to be one of the richest counties in the country.  Wise up folks, Romney earned his wealth honestly and has followed tax rules he did not write.  Meanwhile, back at the white house we have a former community organizer taking $4 million dollar vacations on out dime!  Just what is his master plan for the next four years anyone heard?

I love other men and thats why I’m voting for Obama again because he is for gay marriage. Democrats stand for the homosexual way of life and want to take God out of everyday life and I approve this. We should have a pro homosexual society where we teach that it’s ok for someone to be gay and it’s ok to love and to have sex with someone of the same sex. Vote Democrat people!!! they carry the true mantel of freedom!!!!

Who The Fu¢K cares. A looser among looser’s.

I’m sure he will appropriately be greeted by the sound of Crickets.

Entertaining republican primary circus for sure.

We need someone to take on the issue of Illegal immigration in our country- make English a national language- not help illegal’s by writing everything in Spanish—Really, that is costing Loudoun schools the money we need for all day Kindergarten and other programs we want.  Not to mention the millions spent on ESL, really why people I ask.  When I lived overseas I didn’t get everything handed to me in English I had to figure it out or starve at restaurants and learn to read travel maps or be lost. If people are dumb enough to think that we can pay zero taxes and legalize weed than I guess you can vote for Ron Paul.  Romney gave charity more money than Taxes- You pay 15% to charity and 10% to taxes and tell me how that feels, Guess we can’t complain to much about that, or maybe we can but a zero tax really?  You can’t have a free ride Republicans- That’s the Osama-bama way! and NEWT really!!  We want a presidential lizard/snake in the White House? He sucked in Congress hmmm….. we really don’t have great choices do we?  All politicians change their minds on issues just wait and see. But we do need to get the great Satan out of the White House.

How does one “stump”, I would like to see Romney “stump”. I don’t like him and would NEVER vote for him but seeing him stump might be kind of fun….

If only Paul and Romney are on the ballot, I’m voting for Paul. Romney is a from Mars.

A vote for Paul is a vote against Romney.

Paul gets my vote.

Virginia, remember, there is only ONE candidate that has voted consistently for the Constitution, liberty and freedom, whose vote can’t be bought sold or traded, who will not say anything to get elected only to do the opposite when elected, and who believes that EVERYONE’S income tax rate should be zero! That, of course, is Dr. Ron Paul. I urge you to support him and get out the vote for him in Virginia. We need a president we know we can’t count on to be consistent with his views and not change them with the next highest bidder. Romney, isn’t that man.

Ron Paul supporters: go to VoteRonPaul with the usual web prefix in front, a period and “US” and “vote” for him. Take a look at the map that is shown. It’ll show supporters from across the country. Please share the page with your friends, family and other Ron Paul supporters and scroll down to the bottom to like their facebook page. I would love to see EVERY Ron Paul supporter make their pledge to vote for him. We would make people’s eyes pop out of their heads when they see the sheer number of us and no one will ever have a reason to say he is “unelectable” ever again. Thanks.

Romney should hold his rally with Saks 5th Avenue as the backdrop.

I can’t wait to hear about Romney’s tax plan ... the one where Romney doesn’t pay any taxes but the rest of us do!

Gee, Tyson?

Tiffany’s is right there across the street!

Newt and Callista are soooooo there!

Sad enough to make me spell *embarrassing* wrong…

With knuckleheads like Romney and Newt, we Republicans are looking at another embarrasing defeat in November.  Sad enough to make me want to become an Independent.

Romney is coming to Tysons?  Let me get my eggs so I can chuck them at that fool.

Gag!

These guys don’t believe in Democracy, that’s why they fixed the Primary for Romney through the Virginia Republican Party Plan.
