A second person involved in a July 21 crash in Ashburn has died from her injuries.
Mary C. Tulipane, 60, of Oakton, was a front seat passenger in a 2006 Honda Pilot that was involved in 10:49 p.m. crash with a 2008 Lexus Sedan on Belmont Ridge Road and Luck Lane, near the intrance of Luck Stone Quarry.
Tulipane died from her injuries Tuesday, according to the Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office.
Jhansi L. Bellapu, 62, of Ashburn, a passenger of the Lexus, died on Aug. 2.
According to reports, the crash occurred when the Honda was driving south on Belmont Ridge Road and was struck by the Lexus when its driver crossed the double yellow line.
The driver of the Lexus, a 35-year-old Chantilly man, was charged with reckless driving. He and a 3-year-old boy who was also a passenger in the Lexus, were not injured.
