The Loudoun Small Business Development Center will offer a “Start Your Business” seminar from 11 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. Sept. 6 at the Comfort Suites, 80 Prosperity Ave., in Leesburg.

Loudoun SBDC Executive Director Robin Suomi will talk to participants about the steps to starting a business, while Kelly Keyser Thompson, a principal at Keyser Thompson

Insurance Agency, will talk about the types of insurance small businesses need. Other seminar highlights include licensing, business plan development, sources of financing and marketing. Those who register online beforehand at LoudounSBDC.eventbrite.comwill be charged $10, while those who register at the door will be charged $15 and will not be guaranteed seating or handouts.
