Hey Slow Down, the posted limit is 55 mph.  If I want to drive 55 mph I can.  If you dont want to, get in the left lane.  Do you know that the police can write you a ticket for driving too slow?  This has nothing to do with being late, I feel the same way about idiots like you when I am not on a schedule.  Doing the posted speed limit is not driving aggressively, it is my right. People like you that think everything revolves around you are selfish and idiotic.  I think people that drive like you are either drinking and driving or just have no desire to get home to who ever is there waiting for them, if anyone. So if you continue to block drivers in the left lane then you will continue to be harrassed one way or another.  If you just stayed in the left lane you would not have these issues or move to the country where you can Sunday drive any day you want!  Yes, lets govern speed in our cars so we have no control of our own vehicles whilst driving and the police department wont miss any of those revenues either huh, we’ll just lay off half of them then. Idiot! Think of more than just your self! Maybe your simple mind should live in a slower area of the country.

I cannot believe a conversation regarding Concealed Permits is even ensuing here.  If you are familiar with the laws of the commonwealth, then you know that while possessing a firearm (in a situation other than curtilage - in and about your home) that you have a LEGAL OBLIGATION TO RETREAT UNLESS THERE IS NO RECOURSE.
Exchanging words is a voluntarily escalation of the situation, whilst one KNOWS that they are armed.  In the eyes of a Grand Jury (which is required to convene in ALL reported shootings) this is MUTUAL COMBAT, and the possesor of the firearm is considered to be looking for a fight and in the legal Wrong.
I suggest that you familiarize yourself with your obligations and responsibilites regarding firearms in this State before shooting off at the mouth. (no pun intended).

DON’T MAKE EYE CONTACT. DON’T CONVERSE WITH EACH OTHER - Particularly if you have a CCP and are armed.

SPEED LIMIT:  I believe that means LIMIT. Which means MAXIMUM SPEED. Now 54 is legal and 56 is illegal. If someone is driving under 55, they are obeying the law.  For you @ssholes who think 60 is for the left lane, it is not.  55 MAX is the left lane. Maybe if you woke up on time and left 5 minutes early, you would not find the need to drive aggressively down the road.  My car is capable of going over 150 easily. I have no need to do so.  Hopefully one day, with technology, vehicles will have a GPS unit that governs speeds based on their location.  There is no need for you inconsiderate people who feel 10 mph over the speed limit is okay.  Drive the posted speed.

I hear people talking about consideration.  The driver’s who refuse to drive the speed limit or more in the left lane are the most inconsiderate idiots around. People driving down route 7 block all lanes doing 50 miles per hour when the speed limit is 55 miles per hour.  Then you all wonder why people are aggravated. Move the hell over to the right lane and drive as slow as you want.  Why block every one else behind you and then call them inconsiderate. Its really simple, if you are driving slow stay in the right lane and you won’t have any trouble.——————————————————————ya I hear ya , I travel to PA every now and again , and they have the move over law , if your in the left lane ya better be passing , the law went away for sometime a few years ago , but was recently reimplemented - Virginia was considering it and I’m not sure where it stands - I frequent the FFX pkwy and it really bad there , you’ll get ‘em side by side , you can tailgate , flash your lights call em names , its better to stay calm instead of blowin a gasket your heart will thank you for it - I once was behind a fellow on a rural road in FFX county , the speed limit was 45 , he traveled no more than 25 the whole 4 mile distance , I was livid , I finally got a chance to get beside him and lit into him , he was an indian (from india) and he didn’t quite understand why i was so upset - apparently didn’t know that had a cop been in the mix , he could have been cited for impeding traffic - cool your jets and hope for the best , ya can’t do anything about it people are rude and selfish and think they maybe doing something for YOU , but are simply providing the necessary junk they need to supply their own egos - now if its grandma driving , just sit back and relax , you really don’t want the elderly racin around our streets now , that has proven to castastrophic at times !!

I have a permit to conceal as well.  I have been in dozens of situations in which I could have used my weapon.  I am highly trained in martial arts/defense tactics.  I have taken guys down that are clsoe to 7 ft 350 pounds as well as skinny boney turds. It is always to ones who run their mouth and flap their loose lips who end up getting their @ss handed to them.  It is a fact that the weaker inferior animals run their moutht he loudest (ex. pomeranians bark like hell with no bite).  I have found a solution to the road rage found in Loudoun county… MOVE.  I have moved out west where people recognize their position in society.  Your NoVa wallets do not make you someone.  At the gates, you money means nothing.  You need to realize that your busy, un-necessary life means nothing to about 3 billion people.  NoVa is full of non-driver idiots that the state issue licenses to.  Insurance companies typically look back 3 years so it is an opportunity for these idiots to drive in any manner they like as long as they get lucky with the 5-0. I don’t mind you riding my @ss as long as you don’t mind slamming into my @ss when I stop suddenly for a deer htat you didn’t see.  I have driven from Leesburg to Sterling roughly 5,000 times in my life.  No matter how fast you drive or how many lights you run, you will not get there any more than a minute ahead of me. Having a permit to carry a weapon under your shirt does not make you a man or a bad@ss.  Any law abiding citizen can pack heat exposed.  Having a gun under your shirt means nothing in your car, no one could see it on the seat either.  So, you people do not deserve to have a weapon (even a slingshot) if you are going to be immature that that.  The only time a weapon needs to be displayed is if you plan to use it. C’MON Marc let’s not get personal unless you have met me. As far as fat once you met me I think you’d beg to differ. As stated before I’m am not an aggressive driver I just telling you about my encounter with aggressive drivers whom have cut me and/or others off and then got angry that myself or someone else beeped at them to warn them that they might be running into us.

Pulling over for any reason is dumb, especially if you’re going to act like a tough guy.

With all the Concealed weapon talk I have been reading about, it’s kinda interesting to know that there are peeps that are so quick to look for a reason to pull a weapon.  But as being a former Law Enforcement officer, I can tell you that, that reason would land you in prison.

I understand the reason for some people to have “Road Rage”.It seems some peoplethink there time is more important than anyone else and will cut in line or cut you off and then get angry when you let them know they did something wrong.I love it when the get angry and signal me to pull over.I wait until they get out of their car , then I exit my car. They always dive back in their vehicle and speed off in fear.By the way I am 6’4” 290LBS. I just wish they would stay around so we could discuss why they are a-holes.To all the cowards out there who like to bully people on the roads I hope the next time you call someone out it will be me. I don’t know what has gone wrong with the people in the US recently concerning driving habits.  What happened to courteous driving? Everyone seems to be in such a hurry to go “nowhere” these days, and actually don’t care who might get hurt in the process!  It is really sad that you can’t get in your vehicle and even go the grocery store these days without having to deal with at least 1 moron who thinks the road is his, or he’s better than everyone else on the road and can drive like a freakin idiot because his car cost more! It is a sad day to have to deal with idiots on the road like this.

I was waiting on Shaw Rd. to take a right onto Sterling Blvd…and there was traffic coming down the hill. Now this idiot behind me starts blasting his horn and guestering for me to go? SOOO tempted to get out of my car….but at least i gave him the one finger salute!

There was an episode on “The Best Defense” Outdoor Channel about how to deal with Road Rage while carrying a concealed weapon.  Great Show. Great Knowledge. Conceal Carry 4 Ever….

Try that again and the odds are pretty good that the next person you try that with will have the means to protect himself!

I had someone road rage on me pretty bad a couple years ago at the route 7 / 15 north interchange. I had the right-of-way, but some guy wasn’t happy that I was either not going fast enough or that he thought I cut him off. So he pulled right up behind me started flashing his lights at me and honking his horn. Initially, I didn’t know what was going on. I thought he might be trying to get around me or wanted me to pull over. I just stopped. At that point, I looked in my rear view mirror and saw that the guy was visibly angry and he started to get out of his car. I then started to move forward and the guy got back in his car, whipped around me on the right-side and got in front of me. He then proceeded to pop the car in reverse, then stop, and while holding his brakes down he started to smoke his rear tires as he hit the accelerator. During that time he was beeping his horn, etc. Then he stopped, got out of his car and started walking back to mine. At that point, I started revving my engine. Boy that got his attention!! He was about 20 to 30 feet from the front of my car with little physical protection. At that point, I think he started to realize in all his rage that he had made a severe tactical mistake. You should have seen his eyes ... they were as big as saucers!! It was great. Anyways, I let the guy off the hook. I just drove around him and his car and made my merry way making sure he didn’t follow me.

The lesson of the story is ... just stay in your car, don’t say anything and you will always maintain the upperhand. And if they come out of their car and come after you, that will make your job and response to their actions easier, particularly if they are armed. Don’t be stupid. Maintain a level head. Let them be stupid and make the mistakes.
