A Sterling man is in custody near Radford University after being charged with six misdemeanor counts of destruction of property and one felony count of destruction of property, a Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office spokesperson said Thursday.

Alan A. L’Haridon, 19, was located on the campus of Radford Sept. 11 after being targeted as a suspect in a series of tire slashing incidents that occurred on Aug. 24 and Aug. 25 near Glengyle Lane, Dorian Court, Fenton Wood Drive and Persimmon Lane in Sterling.

L’Haridon is currently being held at the New River Valley Regional Jail, according to the Sheriff’s Office spokesperson.

Earlier this week, the Sheriff’s Office issued an informational alert to the public asking the whereabouts of the Sterling resident.

Great “person of interest” photo. Why do I get the impression that if you went to a skateboard park and shouted “Yo Dude!” the first one to turn around would be him?
