I don’t see what past sins of people migrating has to do with the modern day world. Fact is every nation requires you to immigrate legally now. I can no more “migrate” to a nation south of our boarder than they can come here without going through proper channels.

Sorry Keith but you could not be more wrong.  Parents aren’t granted citizenship for having a child on US soil.  However, if it is the Jus Soli policy you are talking about, where a child is deemed a citizen if he or she is born on US soil, nearly every country in South America has this policy (even Canada shares this policy).  Please keep your bigoted opinions to yourself, and if you wish to sound like a racist redneck in the future please do a little research first.
