Susan Allen tours Leesburg businesses ahead of primary

Susan Allen, wife of U.S. Senate candidate George Allen (R), traveled to Leesburg June 6 to tour small businesses and meet with business owners. Her visit came less than a week ahead of the June 12 Republican primaries in Virginia.

Allen is the front-runner in the primary race, well ahead of contenders Chesapeake minister E.W. Jackson, Del. Robert Marshall (Prince William) and former Virginia Tea Party Patriots head Jamie Radtke. A poll released today from Quinnipiac University shows Allen nearly locked with former Democratic Governor Tim Kaine, who is leading Allen 44 to 43 percent.

The list of Republicans goes from bad to worse. On top of it the race will be voting for dumb or dumber. No matter who wins in November we all lose.
