    Virginia Gov. Bob McDonnell had a close encounter with a Harris Hawk earlier in June.  Phipps, a trained hawk, flew between the governor’s legs at the Homestead in Hot Springs, Va. The bird’s trainer can been seen crouching in the background.

    A hawk flying towards Gov. McDonnell’s crotch area is turn about fair play given how the 2012 General Assembly legislative session gave birth to the Commonwealth’ healthcare ultra-sound mandate.  Just saying.
