Three arrested in Leesburg massage parlor bust

Leesburg Police arrested three people June 4 after searching a massage parlor on Cardinal Park Drive.

Employees of the Cardinal Clinic Center – Pung Cha Zorn, 64, of Ellicott City, Md.; Young Jo Truman, 44, of Laurel, Md.; and Pyoung Un Roy, 49, of Annandale – were all charged, Leesburg Police spokesman Officer Chris Jones said.

All three were charged with residing in a bawdy place, while Truman and Roy were also charged with unlawful acts of a massage therapist.

Zorn was held on $2,500 bond, while Truman and Roy were held on $3,500 bond, Jones said.

Cardinal Clinic Center is the fourth massage parlor to be busted in Loudoun within the past two months.

Comments

First off I would never visit one of these places nor do I need to!
I would however, count myself as one of these Leesburg residents living in “$500k-$700k housing” as one post put it…however I am so amused by the very concept of the                 “Happy Ending” I don’t think this is a very serious crime…but it does need to be dealt with, I see myself as an open minded person, certainly open minded enough to disagree with prostitution laws in the US, so I smile a little bit when I hear about these places.

All the people complaining about ‘shady enterprises’ should realize who is actually using these types of places, perhaps your neighbors, co-workers, brothers… (I think you get the point)  Why here you might say??... why do you think they set up shop in and around places like Leesburg and not Dale City….because that’s where the money and demand is, not to mention word of mouth, how do you think these places drum up business??  Maybe lockers room conversations, or country club, golf course conversations etc, coincidentally these are places where folks might live more stressful lives due to high paying high stress jobs, so one thing leads to another and they stumble into one of these places, however these places fill a specific need in society or else they wouldn’t exist, I will pose a question to all the married female readers out there, which deplorable act would you prefer?

1. Husband X receiving an anonymous happy ending…then returning home safely?
2. Sleeping with someone else and possibly becoming intimate emotionally?

I realize I am stretching it quite a bit here…but I bet I can guess what your answer is!

Now it would be easy to say I am justifying these acts/crimes… I am not, I am merely pointing out how some men think, we all have this insatiable need for fantasy and control, as well as having strong biological needs, these shady little places provide that environment, not all men have the control or the sense of moral obligation that society would have them possess.

Someone suggested “Find a GF” or “Go home to your wife” … Well that could be really difficult for some people, time constraints etc… or maybe it simply boils down to convenience, paying for pleasure is easy, men can also be incredibly lazy, that’s why the pornography industry grossed almost 14 BILLION dollars last year in the US alone.(Yes Billion) That makes it the single most profitable entertainment format in the world… that should tell you a bit about human nature.

But I am afraid I am getting off track…

Yes hunt down those awful massage parlors…damn those evil men and women for being naughty, burn them in the public square classify them as sex offenders for doing what people having been doing since rubber gloves were invented!

On a more serious note:
Simply put, yes it’s illegal, but I would rather have a thousand men finding an outlet for their instinctual needs by visiting “Bawdy Houses” rather than one or more men potentially committing a sex crime out of that same thousand, or a thousand broken families in a society that is already falling to crap.  I say close them down of course, this not the place for that type of activity …however lets not judge lest we be judged! And remember…never throw rocks…it might hit someone you know.

To end my silly little rambling rant, I want to point out that I support the police, they consist of the most under paid, over worked, under recognized professionals in our country, people want to talk smack until they need them, however there must be something else these fine officers could focus their efforts on.

In the mean time I got to run, my wife’s going to give me a back rub!  

My mom was one of the women busted, They knew they were committing crimes and making oodles of cash off it.

Well that may not be NEWS worthy for you but i work next door and that was definitely news to us! I’m glad they got busted!

That daily beast story is worthless.  It is junk news.  They ranked convictions.  The states that have high convictions are the ones that have the laws that can be enforced.  Good for the cops enforcing the law.

Massage Parlors are hidden whore houses. Give me a break. If your complaining it must mean your going to have to look for another venue. To all the women in Loudoun County I would be getting an STD test right away. When your husbands and boyfriends leave those “massage parlors ” their coming home to you.

@anonymous referencing the corruption article…notice how “happy endings” are not included in the list of corruption…thanks white collar leaders in VA, taking away from the little person and punishing them for harmless acts, all the while you steal our state away.

what is this charge all about?  anyone understand the true nature of the charges?  or just guessing that prostitution was occurring? The charges never mentioned any prostitution, just some bawdy place, unlawful acts of a massage therapist???

And someone with racial comment, I can say the same thing about other race involved in murder, extortion, prostitution and name it, America had it long before Asians moved here.

You would not dare talk about the “family” for fear of death or worse, but you can trash whole race because they don’t have “family” that you know of yet!

It is small petty violation. The gang probelem and drugs and murder are more serious problem that as false accusations and innuendos that flame hostilities.

Remember that is how NAZI started their powerbase and poor helpless sheeps had to follow their small but violent NAZI leaders.  Well Gangs are small compared to the ordinary citizens but they sure disrupt us in a big way, just like NAZI.

So are the people who violate law, a lot of times it is Mom’s and Dad’s who violate other people kid’s civil rights, threatening, intimidating little boys and girls. These events are not even mentioned in the news but they do happen. Even police commit the crime of overstepping their authority, by intimidating and threatening citizens for no other reason than they think they can get away with it.

So yes, I agree that they can better use their resources on major violent crimes and violations against helpless kids.

No matter which race happen to commit it.
But let’s not make such generalized comments like “The Asians at it again.”

It just frustrates me how some of them along with the Loudoucn County Sheriff’s Deputies just look for any little thing they can. There have been numerous times when I am driving on the road, minding my own business, and some of them tailgate me for no reason other than to scare me and try and look for stuff.

How many of you were USING that parlor and don’t want to be found out..or are now inconvenienced to find another one…how ridiculous you people don’t see the need to keep a cleaned up community!  Corruption starts at the grassroots…you people who criticize the Leesburg Police for enforcing the written law sound very cynical and not too bright…Here’s a look at your STATE…
A survey published last week ranked Virginia as the country’s second most corrupt state.

The survey, published by The Daily Beast website, analyzed a range of incidents of private and public corruption from 1998 to 2008 in all 50 U.S. states and Washington, D.C., to determine which are the most clean in terms of good governance.

Virginia ranked right behind the No. 1 state, Tennessee. The most honest state? New Hampshire.

The Daily Beast delved into federal databases to rank the level of corruption in each state. The areas examined included convictions of elected and other public officials; racketeering and extortion; forgery and counterfeiting; fraud; and embezzlement. Rankings were based on weighted averages using a mathematical formula.

Virginia ranked as follows in the categories: No. 14 in corruption; No. 9 in racketeering and extortion; No. 18 in forgery and counterfeiting; No. 9 in fraud; and No. 5 in embezzlement.

Virginia’s neighboring states and the District of Columbia fared much better. Maryland ranked 23rd overall, West Virginia came in at 31, and the District at 36. Among other states, Nevada – home to Las Vegas – ranked seventh, and New Jersey was way down the list at No. 21.

The report is available at http://www.thedailybeast.com/blogs-and-stories/2010-05-11/the-most-corrupt-states.

I do agree, I’d rather see LPD patrolling over by Wal-Mart than busting “massage” parlors, but seedy elements are seedy elements I guess.  Although I bet the middle-aged women at this shop probably kept their homes in decent shape if they live in the area.

Why are they wasting taxpayer money with stuff like this? why can’t they focus more on the so called “gang activity”? Or what about the killing of Jammie Lane? This is absolutely absurd.

I am not always the biggest fan of Leesburg police but I am glad that they busted this up. The caliber of people moving into many areas of Leesburg seems to have gone down. I agree that we don’t want to become known as a second Sterling.

I fail to see why anyone is complaining about this.  I live in Leesburg, and I am completely unhappy with the low grade trash that has moved in.  When I moved into my area it was a nice area itis now heading toward dumpsville and I am tired of it. I try to keep my place up and watch out for the neighbors. I say hooray for the Leesburg Police and by all means go after the gangs and the troublemakers.

John
Unless I am mistaken the crimes you refer to have been solved and the people have either been convited or are on trial. To suggest that the police could have in some way prevented these sad crimes does not make sense, there is not now and there will never be a way to assure the safety of each and every citizen.

Well these are the types of activities that eventually lead up to those sorts of crimes Dong!
Trash is trash. I appreciate the work that the police are doing, big and small.
Also if you owned a $500k-$700k home back up on the hill behind Cardinal Park Drive I think you’d be happy that the police were getting rid of this trash too, gang related or not.

Glad to see that tax dollars are being used to bust up massage parlors instead of gang busts, arresting drug dealers and helping out schools and programs.

Carey, a nice, clean, familiy community doesn’t have a husband beaten to death with a wife left for dead in the woods.
A nice family community doesn’t have a boyfriend strangle his girlfriend over a quarrel.
There are so many of these to list.
The police need to make examples of those sorts of crimes before going after some bs parlor.

I’d hate to see the evidence in this case :)

If Leesburg police can do that than they can slove the case of jammie lane instead of it getting cold

Ted…don’t worry about the economic impacts…Obama will give the workers unemployment benefits.

The asians are at it again! First Annandale, now Leesburg?

Way to go Leesburg police!
This isn’t a 3rd world country. We’re trying to build a nice, clean, family friendly community and definitely don’t need people like this around.
If you need a happy ending that bad get a girlfriend, a wife, or do it yourself.

Now what am I going to do for my pre-date ritual? got to clean the pipes somehow.

I can’t understand why anybody here would complain about what the police did. They don’t make the laws they enforce the laws and that is all they were doing here. If someone has a problem with the law then go to you state government and complain about it but don’t get mad at the cops for doing thier job.

To their credit, anon, Leesburg Police don’t have Sterling as part of their patrol.

No one under 44 though huh?  I don’t know if it is all that appealing.

And they named it a “clinic”!  Creative!

Man, all these arrests are bringing me down! It’s getting to the point where a guy can’t get a happy ending! Damn.
I do not see how this is a crime or bad for the town. Actually, it’s worse: the landlord now has to search for a new tenant which will not be easy and the workers no longer have an income and will not be spending money in and around town.

Anony, If your business was next door and you can hear moaning through the wall while trying to work with clients, you would feel differently. Good job Leesburg Police!!

I fail to see how these arrests have benefitted, improved, protected, or made safe, any person or any part of our society.

Meanwhile hotels are getting robbed at gunpoint in Sterling!  Good GET LCP!
