Three in jail after paintballs strike deputy’s patrol vehicle Thursday

An Ashburn man and his two friends were arrested Thursday after authorities said they were drunk and one hit a deputy’s car with several paintballs.

Shaun A. Randall, 19, of Ashburn, was charged with conspiracy to maliciously shoot at an occupied marked law enforcement vehicle and underage possession of alcohol.

Nicole M. Quigg, 18, and Christopher R. Pullen, 18, were charged with drunk in public.

A Loudoun County Sheriff’s deputy was patrolling in the area of Ashburn and Hay roads about 2:19 a.m. when his vehicle was struck with several paintballs, according to reports. A damage estimate to the vehicle was not provided.

Deputies searched the area until they located the three individuals.

An investigation into the incident is ongoing as deputies are working to identify two other people believed to be involved.

All three are being held at the Loudoun County Adult Detention Center.

Doh.  Busted.  Things not to do while drunk. Hopefully they also bust whomever supplied these kids with alcohol.
