Fifteen Future Leaders from Loudoun high schools were honored March 12 at the School-Business Partnership Recognition Breakfast. Each year, the Loudoun Times-Mirror selects these young leaders from dozens of nominations.
Peter Arundel, publisher of the Times-Mirror, presented certificates and scholarships to each of the winners. Nicole Ivey, a senior at Briar Woods High School, is the 2010 winner of the top prize, earning the $3,000 Times-Mirror scholarship. The other 14 Future Leaders each will receive $1,500 to put toward their college studies.
To learn more about these students, read the Future Leaders 2010 special section published in this week’s Times-Mirror, also available online in this week’s e-edition.
