Home-building company Toll Brothers Inc. donated hundreds of like-new appliances to HomeAid Northern Virginia, a nonprofit organization that provides housing for the homeless. HomeAid is coordinating distribution and sales of these appliances with Habitat for Humanity of Northern Virginia and of Loudoun County.
A partnership change with Toll Brothers’ major appliance provider has allowed the company to replace more than 1,500 appliances in its model homes and design studios nationwide. The appliances are being sold at local Habitat for Humanity’s ReStore locations to benefit both organizations. Donated appliances include washers, dryers, microwave ovens, ranges, dishwashers, wall ovens, cooktops and refrigerators.
