A vehicle flipped on Old Ox Road near Mercure Circle at 2:01 p.m. today, halting traffic in both directions.

The Alert Loudoun system sent out a traffic notification regarding the incident at 2:15 p.m.

Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office spokesman Kraig Troxell said the incident appeared to be a single-vehicle crash, and that the vehicle rolled over. However, serious injuries were not reported.

While there it is not known when the road will reopen to traffic, Troxell imagined said he didn’t expect the route to remained closed for long.
