United States Rep. Frank Wolf (R-10) kicked off his campaign for a 17th term in Congress Thursday night. The Dulles Hilton event coordinated with Wolf’s 73rd birthday, Jan. 30.
With a political tone, the Congressman said Northern Virginia is likely to determine whether the next Senate majority leader will be Sen. Harry Reid (D-Nevada) or Mitch McConnell (R-Kentucky). He also said the region will play a critical role in the 2012 presidential election.
Looks like a shill Wolf campaign staffer found the comment section here.
What a vague pile of BS in favor of this guy. No evidence to back the claims up. Face it, our Congressman might as well be a plant in the lobby. The plant might have a better chance of being considered for a leadership post.
Rep. Wolf has demonstrated great leadership in Northern Virginia transportation issues. He has consistently found Federal funding for road building projects that have greatly improved the efficiency and flow of traffic for commuters and got funding for the metro to serve large segments of the Northern Virginia population.
How is it that after 32 years he has not gained any serious leadership role and he has just ridden and taken credit for the growth in our region.
Will he support Metro in Loudoun or want to kill it like the new BoS.
Time to vote him out. 32 years is way too long for any one congressman.
Great, two more years of nothing.
32 years in Congress and the guy has accomplished nothing of note. History will look at him like he wasn’t even there, and this district suffers for it. Show me another district with a Congressman with that kind of tenure where they wouldn’t get ANY funding for a project like Metro rail.
The guy acts more like a County Supervisor than a Congressman. It is time for a change. Wolf is worthless.
Again? It seems like his last campaign was yesterday.
How about some fed funds for rail Rep Wolf? You’ve done nothing to help loudoun minimize the costs so now we have high tolls instead. Thanks alot…for nothing.
