    Basketball teams to compete in Battle of Ashburn

    Broad Run, Briar Woods and Stone Bridge high schools will spend a portion of their holiday break battling for basketball supremacy in the fifth Annual Honda of Dulles Holiday Battle of Ashburn.

    Both the boys and girls teams from the Ashburn schools will compete in the tournament Dec. 27 through Dec. 29, with each school facing each other once. The tournament will feature varsity, junior varsity and freshman teams. Freshman will play in the auxiliary gym and junior varsity and varsity will be in the main gym. Tickets are $6 per day.


    Thursday, Dec. 27

    -Briar Woods at Broad Run
    Boys: 2 p.m. (freshmen), 3:45 p.m. (junior varsity), 7:15 p.m. (varsity)
    Girls: 3:45 p.m. (f), 2:00 p.m. (jv), 5:30 p.m. (v)


    Friday, Dec. 28

    -Stone Bridge at Briar Woods
    Boys: 2 p.m. (f), 3:45 p.m. (jv), 7:15 p.m. (v)
    Girls: 3:45 p.m. (f), 2 p.m. (jv), 5:30 p.m. (v)


    Saturday, Dec. 29

    -Broad Run at Stone Bridge
    Boys: 2 p.m. (f), 3:45 p.m. (jv), 7:15 p.m. (v)
    Girls: 3:45 p.m. (f), 2 p.m. (jv), 5:30 p.m. (v)
