The boys team from Briar Woods High School and the girls squad from Woodgrove High School both swept the competition at a Dulles District cross-country tri-meet Oct. 5 at Tuscarora High School in Leesburg.

Briar Woods defeated Woodgrove and host Tuscarora in the boys race. Woodgrove edged Tuscarora by a point to pick up a win. On the girls side, Woogrove convincingly won against Briar Woods and Tuscarora. Briar Woods earned a split with a win over Tuscarora.
