The Briar Woods Falcons soared to their third consecutive Region II competitive cheer championship Nov. 5 at Powhatan High School.

The Falcons - also Dulles District champions this fall - will now set their sights on the Virginia AA cheer championship as they aim for their third straight state title.

Loudoun County also qualified for states following its fourth-place finish at the regional meet. The Virginia AA cheer championship is Nov. 12 at the Siegel Center in Richmond.
