Washington Redskins defensive lineman Kedric Golston and his wife Christal Golston are spearheading the New Year’s Eve Midnight Masquerade Ball to benefit the Every Child Fed organization.
Tickets and sponsorship opportunities are still available for the charity event, set for Dec. 31 from 8 p.m. to 1 a.m. at the Reston Hyatt.
Every Child Fed’s mission is to save lives by ensuring severely malnourished children are fed. The organization establishes local self-sustaining manufacturing facilities to produce and distribute Ready-To-Use Therapeutic Food to severely malnourished children in sub-Saharan Africa.
Kedric, in his seventh season with the Redskins, and Christal reside in Ashburn with their four children. Every Child Fed is one of many charities the Golstons are involved with.
“It makes you cry to see how their lives have changed,” Christal Golston said of kids positively impacted by Every Child Fed.
Several Redskins players, along with their families and friends, are scheduled to ring in the new year at the Midnight Masquerade Ball.
