The Dominion High School club hockey team is hosting the “Stick it to Sarcoma” fundraiser for Sharon Heiden at Velocity 5 restaurant Feb. 7.

From 5-10 p.m., Velocity 5 at Great Falls Plaza will donate 10 percent of all purchases to help with Sharon Heiden’s medical bills.

Heiden was diagnosed with chrondosarcoma in April of last year. Chrondosarcoma is a soft tissue cancer that attacks cartilage. Heiden had two major surgeries this fall and is currently cancer-free. She is undergoing physical therapy.

Heiden’s husband is Dominion’s head coach and her son Austin is a sophomore on the team.
