Foxcroft opens DAC playoffs with runaway victory

Senior captain Lizzie Wilford registered a double-double to lead Foxcroft School to a 51-9 win over Emmanuel Christian in the first round of the Delaney Athletic Conference girls basketball playoffs Feb. 21 in Middleburg.
Wilford scored 18 points and grabbed 12 rebounds to record Foxcroft’s first double-double of the season. Foxcroft will play at Wakefield Country Day in the DAC semifinals Feb. 23.
