    John Champe to hold Military Appreciation Night Nov. 2

    John Champe High School will hold Military Appreciation Night at its final 2012 home varsity football game Nov. 2 against Madison County. All veterans in attendance will be recognized on the field prior to the game with spectators receiving a small American flag to wave during the ceremony.

    Admission is free for veterans and their families, and $5 for non-military. John Champe is at 41535 Sacred Mountain Street in Aldie. A portion of the gate from the game will be donated to the Virginia Wounded Warrior program.
