Ida Lee Park Tennis Center’s level 2.5 ladies’ team has earned a spot in the 2010 United States Tennis Association League’s Adult National Championship, Oct. 1-3 at the Mission Hills Country Club, in Rancho Mirage, Calif.

The Ida Lee Park team went undefeated at the Mid-Atlantic Sectional Championship Aug. 14-15 in Virginia Beach to secure a berth in the national championship.

Team members are coaches Korey Suk and Moses Gittens, captain Ellen Wyly, and players Jennifer Culko, Susan Gorman, Kathy Horne, Jen Kaine, Jennifer Pearson, Christine Sequino, Nicole Sicre and Eve Webber.
