The Springfield Rifles, a team composed of several Loudoun County coaches and some former players, won yet another DC Men’s Senior Baseball League regular-season title this summer with a 13-3 record.

The Rifles’ roster includes Brad Bauder, head coach of Woodgrove High School; Ryan Price, head coach of Heritage; Nick Price, head coach of Loudoun County; Jason Treon, head coach of Freedom; Sean Griffin, pitching coach at Stone Bridge; Robbie Bouman, assistant coach at Freedom; Scott Van Dusseldorf, assistant coach at Heritage; and Danny Watkins, an assistant coach at Freedom. Also playing for the Rifles are Tim Brown, Kyle Slusher, Brian Slusher, Jeff Todd, Jimmy Porter and Mark Deans.

In addition to having several Loudoun coaches, many of the Rifles played for longtime Loudoun coaches Joe Terango (Potomac Falls), Pat Cassidy (Broad Run) and Wayne Todd (Broad Run and Loudoun Valley) during their prep campaigns.
