Hampden-Sydney College’s Benjamin James Brawley received the Dunnington Dedication Award for Baseball earlier this spring. The award recognizes dedication to the sport and team leadership.

Brawley graduated from Loudoun County High School. As the starting catcher on Hampden-Sydney’s baseball team, he amassed a .262 batting average with 12 RBIs.
Brawley is a member of the honor society Omicron Delta Kappa for leadership and Lambda Chi Alpha, a social fraternity.
