Loudoun County High School volleyball coach Jenica Matthias has been named Coach of the Year for the state of Virginia and Section 2 by the National Federation of State High School Associations for the 2010-2011 season.

Matthias guided the Raiders to a fourth consecutive Virginia AA state volleyball championship in 2010. Section 2 consists of Virginia, West Virginia, Pennsylvania, Ohio, Maryland, Kentucky, Delaware and Washington, D.C.

Matthias was one of eight finalists for the National Coach of the Year award.
