Former Loudoun standouts deliver in Syracuse’s lacrosse opener

Loudoun Valley High School graduate Chris Daddio and Stone Bridge alum Derek Maltz were both in the starting lineup for Syracuse University’s home men’s lacrosse opener Feb. 19 against Albany.

Maltz, pictured on the right, scored two goals and Daddio won 9 of 15 faceoffs and scooped four ground balls in Syracuse’s 12-7 victory.

The Orange are ranked sixth nationally in Division I.
