Raiders’ Borup listed among nation’s elite volleyball players

Loudoun County High School rising sophomore Taylor Borup was one of 25 players selected on the Junior Volleyball Association watch list of the nation's top 15-year-old volleyball players.

A 6-foot-3 outside hitter, Borup was a member of the Raiders' 2012 state championship team. She also plays for the Northern Virginia Volleyball Association 15-1 ICE squad that has qualified for this year's Junior Nationals, July 1-4 in Dallas, Texas.

Borup has already made a verbal commitment to play volleyball on scholarship at the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill after she graduates in 2016.
