The Washington Redskins Cheerleaders have opened registration for the Spirit Explosion halftime show. The event will take place during the Redskins vs. Falcons game Oct. 7 at FedEx Field in Landover, Md.

LOUDOUN COUNTY, Va. – The Washington Redskins Cheerleaders (WRC) announced today that registration is now open for the Spirit Explosion halftime show which will take place during the Redskins vs. Falcons game at FedExField on Sunday, Oct. 7.
The Spirit Explosion halftime show is open to teams, studios and individual cheerleaders and dancers from the Washington, D.C. area. Participants will get the chance to learn an exciting and high energy halftime routine from one of the top instructors in the country, WRC Director Stephanie Jojokian.
Cheerleaders and dancers will also be taught by the nationally recognized WRC. Participants will receive a commemorative Spirit Explosion T-shirt and poms, as well as get the opportunity to perform in front of more than 85,000 fans – the largest crowd in the NFL. Each cheerleading and dance team will also get a CD of their performance music.
“The Spirit Explosion halftime show is one of the most highly anticipated cheerleading performances of the year,” said Washington Redskins Cheerleading Director Stephanie Jojokian. “We are excited to enhance area cheerleaders and dancers performance techniques – especially at a WRC event that teaches young athletes sportsmanship and teamwork.”

-Registration deadline: Sunday, Sept. 23.
-Rehearsal date: Saturday, Oct. 6 at FedExField.
-The Spirit Explosion halftime show: Sunday, Oct. 7 at FedExField.
