    Virginia Tech scored 41 unanswered points to dig out of an early hole and defeat Duke, 41-20, on Oct. 13 at Lane Stadium in Blacksburg.

    The Hokies (2-1 in the ACC, 4-3 overall) snapped a two-game losing streak, while the Blue Devils (2-1, 5-2) lost for the first time in their last five games.

    Stone Bridge High School alum Jeron Gouveia-Winslow registered one tackle in the win. Gouveia-Winslow is a redshirt senior linebacker for the Hokies.

    Bishop O’Connell alum Josh Trimble, a redshirt freshman linebacker from Ashburn, recorded two tackles for Virginia Tech.
