Vogt to spread cheer at Tuscarora

Tuscarora High School has hired Crissi Vogt as the inaugural head coach of its cheerleading program.

Vogt has served as a cheerleading coach at Reston Youth Association for the last two years and is thrilled for the opportunity to transfer her abilities to the high school level. She is extremely excited about developing a new cheerleading program at Tuscarora, set to open for the 2010-11 school year in Leesburg.

Vogt cheered competitively at both the high school and collegiate level. She graduated from Chapman University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Music. Vogt currently teaches music at Destiny Preschool for the Arts in Leesburg.
