    Tue., Nov. 13 | 03:21 PM - The Briar Woods Falcons competition cheer squad won their fourth consecutive Virginia AA state championship Nov. 10 at the Siegel Center in Richmond. The Falcons scored 279 points in the finals to edge runner-up Grafton by two points for the title.

    Falcons soar to another Region II championship

After winning the state title three years in a row, from 2009 to 2011, the Falcons were shocked when they finished runner-up to Tuscarora for the Dulles District regular-season title.

    Briar Woods cheers to state trifecta

Briar Woods became the first program in Virginia High School League history to win the state title in the same classification for three straight years.
