    As the last hurrah to close the high school season, the top prep gymnasts in Virginia came together March 8 inside the gymnasium at Nokesville's Patriot High School to see who is the best of the best.

    VHSL State Open Gymnastics meet postponed to Sunday
    For travel safety purposes, the Virginia High School League State Open Gymnastics meet has been postponed from Saturday to Sunday. The meet will still be contested at Patriot High School in Nokesville.
    Friday’s updated postseason schedule
    Virginia High School League state swimming, wrestling and gymnastics meets highlight Friday's full slate of varsity athletic events. Conference 21 and Conference 28 basketball tournament championship games are also set for tonight.

    Valley, Heritage, County’s Miner tops in conference gymnastics
    Loudoun County High School senior Victoria Miner is a mainstay in the gymnastics postseason. A four-year member of the Raiders' squad, Miner has made it to the state meet each winter, qualifying for all four events.

    There were eight Loudoun schools among the 11 participating in the 35th edition of the Glory Days/Park View Gymnastics Invitational in Sterling Jan. 10. Out of the 99 gymnasts vaulting, balancing and tumbling, a pair of sophomores shined for the local girls.
