Freedom High School juniors Wesley Wong and Alex Cragg blazed through their singles matches in the AAA Northwest Region boys tennis championship match May 18 in South Riding. The Eagles' No. 1 and No. 2 players defeated their Albermarle opponents in less than an hour.

The 2012 Dulles District tennis tournament is completed. Team champions are Loudoun County (boys) and Woodgrove (girls); singles champions are Alex Chou (Dominion) and Sunnie Lampl (Woodgrove); and doubles champions are Dominion (boys) and Woodgrove (girls).

Loudoun County boys triumph in Dulles tennis tournament
For the Loudoun County High School boys tennis team, the future looks bright. The Raiders cruised through a 16-0 regular season and then defeated Briar Woods 5-1 on May 11 to win the Dulles District team tournament. Loudoun County is looking to triumph in not only regionals, but also states.
