Campaign Statement
Broad Run voters deserve a better choice. The only candidate on the ballot for School Board - Broad Run was arrested Oct. 4, for allegedly assaulting his wife. He faces up to 12 months in jail if convicted. He is running as a fiscal conservative despite filing for bankruptcy this year. He has two children in private school and one who was in private school through the eighth grade.
I am passionate about our public schools and have perspective on issues as a parent, teacher, technologist, and taxpayer. I want to be sure the School Board works with transparency and accountability as we meet the challenge of maintaining an excellent education for our children while facing declining revenue and increasing enrollment.
On Nov. 8, please write in Joy Maloney for School Board - Broad Run.
