Letters to the Editor

Regarding the recent events in Charlottesville I strongly disapprove of the way we are trying to solve the Confederate statutes issue. The acts by the KKK and neo-Nazis were not peaceful and in many ways were hurtful and violent. Instead of using violence and being polarized, I invite these people to negotiate and communicate peacefully. It frustrates me to see a nation so divided.

the liberal media constantly trying to pit each group against each other is what is causing racial division in this Country. Antifa acts the same way as the Neo Nazis and more often and you hear no condemnation of this group from anyone on the left. The lesson we’ve learned is hate is tolerated when it’s perpetrated by the left , but not by the extreme right.
