The paving on Saulty Road and Lowes Island Parkway should be done this Friday or early next week depending on the weather … We were aware of the event so we worked with the contractor to avoid any conflict.

The work on these routes is part of our overall paving program. There were about 1,300 lane miles scheduled to be paved between last spring and this June; these roads are part of that 2016 list. They started in Sterling south of Route 7 and moved to the routes north of Route 7 this spring.

There was other paving work done in the area last year as part of the paving program and more for this year. You can see all of the roads scheduled for paving at http://www.virginiadot.org/novapaving.

We here in Loudoun know how Vdot bends over backward like with Mr.Pahlavani and the heavy handed use of eminent domain to build a road that benefits Kincora while ruining the property this man owns. Going to court but the road has been built what a joke! I guess that is how you work with people who don’t own golf courses.
