A winner on Goodwin Court

Are you easily deceived? You will be with this one. This home looks small from the outside, but you'll forget you ever thought that as soon as you step inside.

The foyer is an expanse of space opening into wide hallways and the dining and formal living room. The dining room is to the left of the entrance. Crown molding and chair rails accent the walls, and a bay window at the front of the house affords an abundance of light. A granite-countertop dry bar, perfect for entertaining, rests just outside the room.

To the right of the entry is the formal living room with 22-foot vaulted ceilings. Large windows on two sides of the room provide great views of the property. French doors lead to a sizable study that exits through the other side to the master suite. Once again, windows take command of the room in the master suite. Windows and a door leading to the back deck line the back wall of the bedroom. Large closets and a bathroom with a water closet, his-and-her sinks, a soak tub and a large shower finish off the suite.

As you step out of the master suite into the main hallway, the kitchen is to the right at the back of the house. It has a large center island with a cooktop, granite countertops and black appliances including a KitchenAid refrigerator. A bar top provides more room for in-kitchen eating. The breakfast nook, which is connected to the kitchen, has access to the screened-in back porch. The porch, with ceiling fan, leads out to a larger two-tier back deck.

Back inside, the family room has a 22-foot vaulted ceiling and a wood-burning fireplace that is also hooked up with a gas connection. A powder room and the laundry room with ceramic tile floors, cabinets and a dry sink also are at this end of the house, just steps away from the door to the two-bay garage.

The lower level walk-out is perfect for a family with teens who need a little space of their own. It has a large recreation room with a wet bar, an exit to the back deck, a full bath and another bedroom with a large walk-in closet. A custom pool table comes with the property.

The upper level contains four bedrooms, including a second master bedroom with a large walk-in closet. It has a double-entry full bathroom. Three other bedrooms, all with large closets share a full bathroom.

Have a large family, or just like plenty of space? This one's for you.
