Farmers Market: The Lovettsville Farmers Market is going strong. Open Tuesdays 3:30-7:30 p.m., the market offers an array of quality produce, wines and whole pastured chicken, and pork products.

The Immortals: Congratulations to the local youth rock band The Immortals from Loudoun Music Instruction located in Lovettsville. They were rated the No. 1 youth band in the area by the Loudoun Youth Fest 2008 selection committee. The Immortals will be opening for New York's "Senses Fail" June 21. Band members include: Lily Cousland, Kyle Lee, Victoria Protic, Laura Keim, Eric Driscoll, Patrick Ryan, Jamie Dahlman, Zack Dehart and J.T. Davis.

Lethal Dose: Congratulations also go out to the No. 2 band, also from Loudoun Music Instruction, Lethal Dose. Great job, kids.
