Pride rally for win

Heritage scored 28 unanswered points to rebound from a 14-point deficit and then held off a late charge from host South Lakes to gain a 28-21 win Sept. 1.

Heritage quarterback Zach Gordon connected with Russell East on a 29-yard touchdown completion late in the second quarter for the Pride's first score.

Gordon also rushed for a touchdown in the second half, while Ross Madison produced two scores – a rushing touchdown and an interception return for six points – in the victory.
