Vikings continue to shine

Loudoun Valley High School swept a varsity golf tri-match Sept. 10 at Kastle Greens Golf Club in Midland. The Vikings produced a four-player score of 146 to win the nine-hole match, while Liberty (154) placed second and Osbourn (167) was third.

A pair of Vikings, junior Brian Hickey and sophomore Scott Davidson, tied for low medalist in the match with scores of 1-under par 35. Sophomore Tanner Welsh carded an even par 36 and Zack Bosse and Mac Kaseman each came in at 40 to round out the scoring for the Vikings.

Loudoun Valley’s record against all opponents now stands at 63–2 for the season. The Vikings will compete in the second Cedar Run District mini tournament Sept. 13 at Kastle Greens.
