Red Cross poker run

SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 13 2008

The 2nd annual Ride for the Red Poker Run, which benefits the American Red Cross, is Oct. 4 (rain date is Oct. 5).

The event combines a 75-mile motorcycle ride through Loudoun County -- starting at the Leesburg firehouse on Loudoun Street -- with a raffle and prizes.

Breakfast and lunch are provided. Registration begins at 8:30 a.m. with a $20-per-bike entrance fee.
