Leesburg's new flag
Loudoun County Supervisor Kelly Burk, who represents Leesburg, stands next to Leesburg's 250th Anniversary flag design contest winner. The flag was unveiled during Leesburg's 250th Anniversary celebration Sept. 14. Although it was chosen as the favorite among online voters, who polled for their favorite flag in August, the flag faces town council approval before becoming the town's official flag.
It was designed by Mitch Burrill and an anonymous designer.
