Three people remain in the intensive care unit at Inova Fairfax Hospital after two violent crimes in Sterling Park Sept. 13-14.
Shortly before 10 p.m. Sept. 13, deputies were called to the 300 block of Argonne Avenue for two people who had been shot.
An 18-year-old male and a 17-year-old female were airlifted to Inova Fairfax Hospital, where they are being treated for life-threatening injuries, Loudoun County Sheriff's Office spokesman Kraig Troxell said.
Investigators believe the two victims may have been targeted, Troxell said.
Then, at about midnight, deputies were called to the 1500 block of North Amelia Street for someone who had been stabbed.
The victim, a 25-year-old male, was airlifted to Inova Fairfax Hospital, where he is being treated for life-threatening injuries. Investigators are working to determine where the assault happened, Troxell said.
Investigators are following leads in both cases but have not named a person of interest in either.
At this point, the two crimes do not appear to be related, Troxell said.
Anyone with information about either of these incidents is asked to call the Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigations division at 703-777-0475. Those who wish to remain anonymous can call Loudoun Crime Solvers at 703-777-1919.
Anyone with information leading to an arrest and indictment could be eligible for a reward of up to $1,000.
