Heritage 30, Brentsville 7
The Pride (3-0) scored the game's final 30 points after spotting the Tigers a 7-0 lead in Leesburg. Senior Ross Madison rushed for 213 yards and a TD, and freshman Brian Rody added 42 yards and two touchdowns on the ground.
Heritage's defense limited Brentsville to five first downs, and held the Tigers scoreless during the final 34 minutes. Danny Offei returned a kickoff 76 yards for the Pride's first score.
Stone Bridge 63, Marshall 0
Senior quarterback Patrick Thompson tossed five touchdown passes and ran for another score to lead the Bulldogs (3-0) to the convincing road victory. Nick Sheehan, John Bladel, Dan Chrost and Andrew Ansell each caught multiple passes as Thompson collected 249 yards through the air.
Bladel and Sheehan, along with Michael Prince, Zach Thompson and Marcus Harris, hauled in touchdown receptions. Daniel Allen led the rushing attack with 49 yards on just seven carries. Bladel and Kyle Gouveia both returned interceptions for touchdowns.
Briar Woods 28, Manassas Park 0
The Falcons (2-0) limited the Cougars to 22 yards total offense and turned in a balanced offensive effort in the road victory. Austin Frattali connected with Jeff Simmons and Jeremy Gray on touchdown completions, and Ray Taliaferro and Billy McDonald also rushed for touchdowns.
In only his second varsity start, Frattali completed 9 of 15 passes for 155 yards. Gray hauled in six of those passes for 109 yards. Taliaferro rushed for 70 yards on 17 carries.
Millbrook 38, Dominion 0
The Titans (0-2) turned the ball over three times and were limited to 38 yards on offense in the road loss. Sophomore Deandre Reaves rushed for 57 yards.
Woodbridge 48, Loudoun Valley 0
The Vikings (0-2) were shut out for the second time this season.
