Bulldogs win Spirit Bowl

The Stone Bridge Bulldogs' cheerleading squad shined the brightest at the eight-team DigitalSports Spirit Bowl Sept. 20 in Ashburn.

The host Bulldogs scored 241 points to win the Silver Division, a division in which all cheer requirements applied and a team's performance had to run between two minutes, 30 seconds and three minutes.

Loudoun County (210) placed second in the Silver Division, followed by Heritage (208.5), Woodson (186) and Freedom (177).

Broad Run (202.5) placed the best among three squads in the Navy Division, which did not have any time requirements. Spotswood (177.5) finished second and Park View was third with 140 points.

Park View and Woodson won spirit awards at the meet.
