Scouting for timeless skills
Nick Numes, 13, of Purcellville, and other members of Upper Loudoun Boy Scout Troop 961 build a fire Nov. 14 during the Mafeking Campout at Locust Hill Farm near Middleburg. The Scouts had to build a fire high enough to burn through the twine. Scouts also had to demonstrate shooting skills and night orienteering. For a slide show on the event, click here.
