Volunteers welcome to assemble food baskets Nov. 22
As the holidays approach in a tough economic year for Loudoun, the Phenomenal Women’s Alliance, in partnership with Christ Chapel AME and other community faith-based organizations, is organizing a food drive to benefit local families in need.Thanksgiving baskets of food will be assembled Sunday, Nov. 22 from 1 to 3 p.m. at Sterling Elementary School, 200 W. Church Road.
Those interested in donating nonperishable items or preparing the baskets should contact Vanessa Allen at vallen@phenomenalwomensalliance.com.
