13-year-old assaulted in Leesburg; police seeking suspect

A 13-year-old was assaulted in Leesburg last week, and authorities are asking the public for assistance in locating the perpetrator.

The assault of the juvenile happened around 4:30 p.m. Feb. 7 in the 1000 block of Fort Evans Road, SE, in the Fox Chapel Condominiums.

The suspect is described as a light-skinned male, between 5'6” and 5'8,” wearing a gray sweater, blue jeans and black or green Nike sneakers. He was seen in the neighborhood asking various residents for a ride, according to LPD.
