Ashburn man robbed at gunpoint

An Ashburn man was robbed at gunpoint Dec. 27 of cash and his cellphone at an apartment complex in the 20000 block of Coltsfoot Terrace.

The victim told the Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office that he was in the stairwell of the apartment complex at 1:50 p.m. when the unknown man approached him and pointed a firearm.
No injuries were reported.

The suspect is described as a dark skinned black man with a thin build, approximately 6 feet 5 inches tall and was last seen wearing a dark-colored hooded shirt and dark jeans.
