Ashby Ponds celebrates 5th anniversary

Ashby Ponds in Ashburn is celebrating its fifth anniversary Sept. 9-16. Among the events scheduled for the week are a Memory Tree and Tapestry Open House from 2-3 p.m. Sept. 11, the premiers of drama productions “Ms. Ashby Ponds” and “Change of Mind” at 7:30 p.m. Sept. 12 and a “Main Street” event that will feature various shops where residents can reminisce from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sept. 16.

“Over the past five years, Ashby Ponds residents have organized over 100 groups and clubs, dazzled us by showcasing their talents in concerts, plays and art galleries, and graciously volunteered their time and energy in our local community,” said David Gallagher, Ashby Ponds executive director. “Our employees also continue their commitment each and every day to providing friendly, professional customer service in order to help our residents live better lives.”
